About OMEC

Since December of 2012 the Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle "OMEC", a 501C3 nonprofit organization, has reconnected people with their own and the Earth's deep mystery to recover the passion that heals us and our world. Nature-rooted programs and land projects inspire people from all walks of life to transform their relationship with the natural world.

OMEC facilitates programs that honor ancient cultures and transform our cultural story to one that reflects harmony with nature. It awakens communities in rural and urban settings to ways of thinking and being that revive a deep connection with each other, and with the nature beings and ecosystems with which they share.

The OMEC team produces
books, articles, films, videos, and audios that support our mission to encourage a sacred and responsible relationship with the Earth and honor ancient wisdom ways - and incepts projects to help preserve the ancient wisdom of diverse Original Peoples.

This organization was inspired through relationship with the old growth forests, ancient glacial waters and lands of the Hoh River Valley and Rainforest in the Olympic Mountains, Pacific Northwest, USA.  I
ts continuing vision is shaped by its founder, Llyn Cedar Roberts, MA

OMEC was incepted in the ancestral homelands of the Coastal Salish Peoples of the Olympic Peninsula. We invite you to learn about the Hoh and Quileute Peoples, whom we acknowledge as the original and rightful stewards of these lands.

OMEC and its sister organization, Shamanic Reiki Worldwide, "SRW" do not enact or convey indigenous-derived practices or ceremonies for which they do not have permission to share. SRW is the main vehicle supporting OMEC’s work and vision. SRW programs inspire people to feel oneness with nature and deep appreciation for original peoples. OMEC Projects offer a tangible way for SRW program participants, practitioners, and teachers to give back - to the Earth and to original peoples who encourage us to engage practices and ceremonies that heal us and our relationship with the Earth.
