Select members of our board and of Shamanic Reiki Worldwide now offer monthly circles online. These independently designed ONLINE HEARTHs are intended to nourish our community and to financially benefit the nonprofit work and projects. 100% of the funds raised go to support OMEC and its indigenous projects. We are grateful to contributing SRW facilitators and board members for their generosity and dedication.

THE HEARTH PROJECT
Community Gatherings and Healing Circles Project Directors: Lori Ferry' and Debbie Philp HEARTH – "HEART, EARTH and ART" HEARTH is the fire, the central place in the home where food is prepared and the family gathers to be nourished and warmed. At HEARTH Circles everyone is welcomed. All are nourished. As we gather to connect our Hearts with the Earth we find our way home. Gathering by the HEARTH’s warmth ignites our inner wisdom fires inspiring us to share our “Art” - our unique, embodied creative expression that honors all life, the natural beauty of the Earth in all its expressions. We kindle our passion for nature in community, smaller circles reverberating to larger circles. |

HOW DO HEARTHS WORK?
HEARTH Circles, independently operated, support OMEC's mission. In-person HEARTH Circles are facilitated by one or more individuals and can be conducted in a variety of ways. These can be small and intimate or gatherings of one hundred or more people. They can be held indoors or outside or in nature, facilitated by one or, several individuals. Often offered monthly, HEARTH facilitator(s) may together with local holistic practitioners to create and hold the circle. Many design the experience as a 'Community Healing Circle' as presented in the book Shamanic Reiki.
HEARTH facilitators may invite participants to simply share in circle from the heart and receive hands-on healing from local practitioners, or to experience a shamanic journey or meditation. They may invite food or storytelling, inspired movement and laughter, silence and incubation. They may conduct ceremony to honor natural cycles and the Earth, and our deep soul longings. Gathering as a HEARTH is a time to share gratitude and inspiration in larger community. At in-person HEARTHs, all that we express, and our feelings, are witnessed and held sacred.
