  • INSPIRATION
Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle is dedicated to making a lasting impact through cross-cultural and land based projects. We support new as well as existing projects which preserve ancient lands and wisdom ways and which inspire an Earth-honoring consciousness. OMEC is about giving back – to the Earth and to indigenous people. The organization was incepted in the ancestral homelands of the Coastal Salish Peoples. We invite you to learn about the Hoh and Quileute Peoples, original stewards of these lands.

Spiritual Wisdom from the Altai Mountains, Altai Bilik touches on the religions of Altai history including Tengrism, shamanism and the twentieth century development from shamanism to White Faith. Drawing on ancient symbols, oral and shamanic text, legend and prophecy, author and elder Nikolai Shodoev gives a personal introduction to Altai cosmology, the soul, spiritual development, harmony between man and nature and the imminent evolutionary shift from the yellow to the white era.

DIALOGUES WITH SIBERIAN CONSERVATIONISTS
During a visit arranged by the Sacred Earth Network in 2001 five leading conservationists from the former Soviet Union met with Dream Change representatives to share about culture and environment. The meeting was hosted by Llyn Roberts and Bill Pfeiffer and resulted in exchanges with Dream Change representatives and indigenous Shor, Hakass, and Tuvan peoples and collaboration on projects to support Siberian culture and environment.

SACRED AND SHAMANIC EXPEDITIONS
Commencing in 1998 Llyn Roberts co-facilitated eight expeditions with John Perkins bringing groups of North Americans and Europeans to learn from indigenous healers deep in the Amazon Basin and high in the Ecuadorian Andes. Thereafter, she created and facilitated intensive healing apprenticeships with Andean shamans, sacred journeys to work with Maya Elders in Guatemala, and conducted trips with Bill Pfeiffer of the Sacred Earth Network to work with Tuvan shamans in southern Siberia. The journeys inspired an interconnectedness with people and nature, and the honoring of ancient indigenous wisdom ways.

DREAM CHANGE MAGAZINE
For six years beginning in 1998 the Dream Change Magazine was published to inspire and network community; as an educational tool to encourage Earth-honoring shifts of consciousness; to support its work and projects with indigenous peoples. The Dream Change Magazine was initiated by Christine Collins and Bob Southard in 1998, from 1999 to 2004 it was produced by Llyn Roberts and Bob Southard, then by Mary Warejcka. The magazine was distributed nation-wide and an on-line magazine was incepted in 2003.

The Shor Mountain peoples of Siberia number about 12,000 and during the 20th century have been decimated by repression, alcohol and suicide. The Shor shamanic legacy might not be remembered if not for this book compiled by Alexander and Luba Arbachakov, depicting ethnographic sketches of remaining Shor and recordings of their shamanic verses. The Last of the Shor Shamans includes photographs of the Shor and their symbols. English as well as the Russian language editions were produced and published.

TIBETAN BUDDHIST PEACE VASE PROJECT
In the spring of 1999 a Tibetan Buddhist Peace Vase provided by Llyn Roberts was buried deep in the Amazonian rainforest of Ecuador. Another vase was buried on the grounds of a Tibetan Buddhist temple in Kyzyl, Tuva, on a trip with Llyn and her colleague, Bill Pfeiffer. A third Peace Vase delivered by them to Alexander Arbachakov was buried by Siberian shamans in the Shor Mountains region. Initiated by His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, hundreds of such vases have been placed around the globe – they contain consecrated items which emanate blessings to the environment, avert negative occurrences, and balance natural energies.

USA GATHERING OF SHAMANS AND WISDOM KEEPERS
From 1999 through 2003, Dream Change organized, managed, and facilitated gatherings that brought shamans and indigenous teachers from cultures around the world to United States. Hundreds of people attended these events which were open to the public and included teachings, community gatherings, ceremonies, and shamanic healing sessions. Eve Bruce initiated and directed Dream Change’s first Gatherings and Llyn Roberts directed the 2001, 2002 and 2003 gatherings. Cultural groups represented include: Andean, Amazonian, Maya, North American tribal peoples, Hopi, Eskimo, Siberian and Mongolian elders.
