Our Roots
The Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle, OMEC, is a 501C3 nonprofit educational organization dedicated to: Inspiring a sacred and responsible relationship with the Earth and to preserving the ancient wisdom of indigenous shamanic peoples. OMEC programs teach people to respect our living planet, and open to nature's healing power. Its projects give back to the Earth and honor ancient peoples. OMEC was incepted in the ancestral homelands of the Coastal Salish Peoples of the Olympic Peninsula. We invite you to learn about the Hoh and Quileute Peoples, the rightful and original stewards of these lands.
What we do
We believe the wellbeing of people and of all Earthly life is inseparable from each person's innate capacity to participate with life's deep mystery. OMEC inspires people from all walks of life to reclaim the natural human passion for what is sacred to make a positive impact on this Earth. Join us as we inspire people to change their lives in positive ways and do something good for people and for nature.
