Our Roots
The Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle "OMEC" is a 501C3 nonprofit educational organization. Our experiential approaches to education encourage heart-centered, embodied, and intuitive learning, accelerated through an intimate relationship with nature. OMEC's purpose is to inspire people to respect our living Planet, to honor original peoples, and to open to nature's healing and transformative influence. Its programs and materials inspire people to change their lives in positive ways and to do something good for people and the Earth. We invite you to learn about projects, programs and materials that encourage an Earth-honoring consciousness.
What we do
OMEC is founded on the tenet that the wellbeing of people and of all Earthly life, is inseparable from each person's innate capacity to participate with life's deep mystery. We encourage people from all walks of life to reclaim the natural human passion for what is 'sacred' to make a positive impact on this Earth.
