At Olympic Mountain EarthWisdom Circle, we encourage sacred journeys to learn and share with indigenous cultures. While OMEC receives no funds from these trips, they support the mission of OMEC. Through direct interaction we offer an opportunity to educate, heal and transform. We believe this sharing of cultures will empower wakeful navigation of change during this evolving time in the history of humanity.
Guatemala: Healer's Journey with Maya Elders
April 11 - 22, 2018
Join us in a joyous immersion as we travel through colorful highland pueblos and stay in vortex areas of several Mayaland mountain regions – and enter sacred time and space as we experience 12,500 year-old ceremonies, and limpias – ‘cleansings’ – with Maya Elders from two distinct locales who are eager to share their traditional healing methods. Learn about, and experience ancient Maya healing ways in this all-new immersion that takes us into the heart of a culture that is steeped in nature’s magic and knows how to access its power.
Pilgrimage to the Edge of the World
A trip to the Yamal Peninsula. Yamal's name means "Edge of the World" in the language of the Nenets, nomadic reindeer herders who have preserved the most traditional and colorful culture of any nomadic group on the planet. On this trip guests will live with a family of Nenets in their teepee and fully immerse themselves in the daily life of the camp. Tentative dates for this sacred journey are June 10 - June 23, 2018.
